    I like both, all, everything...

It's fun playing just us against us, and also us against the public, and I think it would be cool to have us against THEM (another clan)...

Gee, can't we just do it all?....

It's not been decided yet, though it will range between 20:00 and 0:00 (UTC). It would be great if people could provide their range of possible starting times (full hours) within this scope Smile

I actually thought (remember this big discussion we already had) that the time you usually picked is a pretty good 'middle-of-the-road' time for everybody... But yeah, cool of you to open it up for variation....

I guess I am the only one with this problem?

Anyways, I think it is fairly pointless to play against a load of other people. We do that every day. If the goal is to improve skill and teamwork, then the only way to achieve that is by playing against each other.

We should have fixed teams that always play together, so the members get to know each other and know how everyone reacts and such.

My honest opinion about this is that we are too casual for that to work. I've only ever seen it work once and that was when money was involved. I just can't see everyone putting their best into it/taking it serious enough, unless we actually played in some sort of league.

I don't know much about console leagues as I have only ever played in a FIFA league and that is vastly different from FPS leagues. I assume there are some really good ones out there, I just can't seem to be able to find any European ones that play BC2. (Good ones)

Yes I know there are people from the US and even Australia here but let's face it... There is no way we can compete in a US league when half of our players are based in Europe. It just doesn't work because of latency, let alone the times at which matches would have to be held.

My clan once participated in a US tourney in 2142 and while the lag was bad, the times were really killing us. Getting up at 2am to play a 60-90 minutes match is hardly possible unless you do it on the weekends.

Pretty much no leagues for BC2. There is no scene for it really. Not all of us enjoy versus each other, which at the end of the day is what we are after. A 4 man squad is common on a daily basis, but an entire teams requires a organised time generally tbh.

Not likely, I think Alzatea had the same problem. I don't know what's up, but I'll see if I can sort it out.

Most events to this date have been squad rush games with emphasis on improving skill and teamwork, but sometimes we just want to have a casual event as well. We've had 1 casual event before and about 10 hectic and extremely tactical squad rush games. It's just lately that we've started with such games on normal rush in private matches simply because we are often too many to play squad rush now. We once had a casual event when we tried to make a private match with 4v4 squad rush, but EA sent us to a public server and put us all on the same team. We will continue having events with emphasis on tactics and teamwork, but we need to alternate every now and then, which is why we're trying to find out what most people would like next event to be.

    We already have: DFA Smile

The only league I seem able to find is FraggedNation, and that one is completely dried up. We were on it for a while, but nobody responded to messages or match invites. Then we tried MLG, but Gamebattles just stopped supporting BC2 leagues so we seem pretty much out of options. We need to find tournaments, which I personally am not good at since I don't know where to look.

We played some clan matches when in MLG, and the starting times were never a problem. I always said "Let's do it in the weekend". That way the attending North Americans on either side would be playing mid-day, people in the Pacific would be getting up at around 10 in the morning, and Europeans would be starting at 10 in the evening. We never did anything else, and every team we played agreed to it without any hassle, so I don't see a reason we can't do it now.

Can't one of us just go marching into another Clan forum, throw down the gauntlet, and challenge them to a private battle?
