    FPS Freeks

    Post by Ruler of theos on Thu Jun 09, 2011 7:44 am

    Anyone ever heard of these things or have used them? My son's friend has a pair and I had a chance to use them and think they are pretty cool. My controller feels weird after taking them off. The sticks move so much smoother and feels more precise when they are on. I will be getting a pair. If you haven't heard of them check em out here: http://www.kontrolfreek.com/

    I have heard of them, and used something similar for my old PS3, was pretty good too, not sure of the effect it had on my overall KDR but it made playing a littler easier, espically for long sessions.

    The only thing to remember is the sharp movements your used to will be intensified with this on so you may need to retrain yourself a little.

    I just bought a set. I've been struggling to find a sensitivity that I like in BC2, and think this can help.

    I use them. To be honest, the only thing that benefits me, is the size of the stick. I can fit more of my thumb on the stick with them, and there are more of the little bump things so i can have better grip. Other than that, when you take them off you will realize how much resistance the sticks have and the freaks decrease that.

    The whole thing is supposed to make your aim more precise, but to be honest i think my sensitivity is still too high for it to really make a difference and i dont seem to like lowering my sensitivity because i tend to either loose gun fights because i cant turn fast enough or i end up missing the corner when entering a building because i cant turn fast enough. I like them, i use them, i support them if they work for you. For me, i cant find that much of a difference in my aiming abilities because i just suck in general =]

    People will buy anything that's promises additional length to their stick.

    Same as me (although 25% of sensitivity translates to 3.75, seeing as 15 is maximum, I'm on 4).

    Meh, not a huge fan of those. I haven't tried them, but I love the original controller sticks just fine.

    I need these for the pursuit parts in LA Noire. My damn thumbs always slip off the stick.

    Why does everyone need a bigger stick? i'm happy with what i got Wink

    yes they are supposed to look retarded. i tried some out in COD but got sick of them after about a week, didn't help me at all. what i was suprised did actually help me some was These Bad Boys.

    i have steel series scopes. under the gaming category.

    The only place i've seen that does replacement sticks not add-ons is the site where i've gotten all my turbo controllers from

    -> HERE <-

    They have an "evil sticks" mod for like 10 extra bucks.
