Same, I'm sticking to vanilla. Besides, the aiming system in Vietnam is way more sensitive than in vanilla, screwing up my aim, and the total lack of solid cover is a pain. I'm pretty much "over it" as well.

The weapons where 1 disapointment for me, but then again you can't add weapons not related to that war, because that would ruin it aswell lol
Now I really don't mind the weapons, what I really disliked was, no unlock system, everything was given at start, so you coulden't really achieve something to play for ..

1 stupid minor in V'nam, the sensetivity, it's so f'd up fast when zoomed, to get a decent aiming speed with a SVD / M40 I need to put my sens almost to zero, wich makes me unable to turn when not zoomed lol

I must say, hardcore on V'nam is more fun then on Vanilla

Hardcore is indeed more fun in Vietnam, but that's about the only place it beats vanilla.

Aww come on guys vanilla owns, but Nam! guys ! Nam! When you get tired of vanilla all the time Nam hits the spot you have to admit! I feel as if Nam is my relax have fun game type its just for that fun! I love it! Vanilla beats it hands down, but I'm going to be honest if they add new skins for the characters I'll still buy them lol. I love both gametypes and if there are any maps down the line I'm so getting them. I would really love to see an Urban Nam map. You guys know what I mean like a completely bombed city that looks like its been at war for weeks. I would have so much fun! Don't you guys agree? A bit of Jungle surrounding the city walls. But then a whole city of just broken walls and rubble. i think it would be bad ass, maybe add a heavy raining element or something. =)

What you're describing sounds a lot like the 2004 PC-original Battlefield Vietnam's 'Quang Tri' map:

By all means, it would be cool, but I still seriously dislike the aiming system. It's like Blizzard says: it's too damned sensitive when you're aiming down the sights!

I dont see any problems with aiming system.
Its not the gun in the end its the operator so sort yourselves out guys.
The rifle is doing the job seems like your not though.
Vietnam drawback. It's too fucking green. I never see where im being it from and all these rocks and trees bang out snipers like there is no tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There always one lefe or another in your fucking face when trying to shoot someone.

"Im gonna shoot you!!!............. flatsch! "hmmmm green wtf????!?!?!"
    Other than that its okay.
Would have been more fun to unlock the weapons rather than being given them.

That's the point; that it's damned hard operating the weapons when the sensitivity is so damn high. The weapons are fine, it's just that it's a pain using them effectively.

When zoomed in vanilla, it's a bit slower then you normal turnspeed.
When zoomed in Vietnam it's A LOT faster then your normal turnspeed..

Maybe it's just me but I have almost no struggle adjusting, except for the sniper rifles.

It's because of the zoom factor guys, versus the iron sights. At least, this is what I think.

What I do when I switch to Nam, is I do some quick practice aimed SCANS of the area. Move really slow and pan across the ridge or something, to get me used to finding the different point on my sticks where the sensitivity is, so that I actually can control it better.

Are we all playing on default aim? Because I feel no difference what so ever. But then again my sensitivity has been the same since I started the game.

for the price of this expansion- awesome... BUT-

    Cons-
-I also feel that my aiming is more sensitive than on vanilla
-AK and M16 are WAY too accurate. Where the heck is the recoil??
    -Where are all the choppers.....
    -Stupid Underwater Boat noob glitch
-Would have been nice if NVA could only use NVA weapons..US US Weapons

    Pros-
-Iron Sites and smaller maps CQ
    -Weapons well balanced
    -SOUNDTRACK
    -Tougher to see markers....

Yeah, bullets actually kill you - it's like Hardcore but you get to keep the Mini-map.

Wow. Really? I've got my sensitivity to the max.

(Okay, now no jokes about being over-sensitive... you'll hurt my feelings...)

    I got my sensitivity bout 4 / 10
    when sniping bout 6 / 10
    when quickscoping bout 8 / 10

    but in v'nam ..
Sniping on 1 spot, sens 0 or 1 / 10, since it's so fucked up fast otherwise
    and squickscoping bout 3-5 / 10

Thing is opinions differ, though I am sharing Blizzard, or rather Kenny's. There is a huge difference between how aiming works when aiming in Vietnam and vanilla, and I definitely prefer the latter.
