Rules
The Mortar Strike is banned. The only way to destroy M-COMs and get a point for it is through arming it, not destroying it by other means (damaging with explosives or collapsing buildings). You can damage it, such as fire rockets at it, but you have to destroy it by arming it.
Scoring
- You get a single point for every M-COM destroyed
- First to get 3 points first wins, or if both teams have 3 points after end of a map, the first team to get more points than the other after the end of a map wins the match
- Points are calculated at the end of a map played, in other words when both teams have played as defenders and as attackers (that way it doesn't matter who starts as attackers) on a map
- You play as many maps as needed
A match is won when a team first reaches 3 points or gets a point advantage over the enemy team. Seeing as you can get maximum 2 points per map, you will play as many maps as needed until the match is won by either team.
Match arrangement
Each team will play one match against all other teams. When this match will occur is decided between individual teams, contact either of the members and arrange it. In general however, matches will for the most part be conducted Friday 7th, Saturday 8th, Sunday 9th, Friday 14th, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th, so you should do your best to be online at this time. You should already start deciding with your squad partner which days you will, for the most part, play matches.
After a match has been conducted, one of the teams must report the match participants and the result in this topic.
*IMPORTANT*
You will have 2 weeks to conduct all the matches, including Friday 7th and Sunday 16th January.
Remember! You arrange the matches individually between teams, all the administration does is combine the results and pronounce a winner. The exact time of each match is decided by the teams conducting each match.
The team that has won the most matches (maximum 7) on Sunday 16th wins the tournament. You are not required to play against all teams, but should, for the sake of balance, do your best to play against every team (though only once!).
You only play one match against each team.
Server creation
You need 8 people to start a server, but only 4 people in total will play. Depending on the opinion of the participants, spectators may or may not be allowed in the game. If they are, they should be recon players hiding in the vegetation in a pre-determined spectator area, spectating with binoculars).
Map selection: when starting the server, choose "Squad rush" and "Any map". This way the map will automatically change when both sides have played once as attackers and oce as defenders.
