HAHAHAHAHA iPoke (some new form of listening device from apple? :P )
My new way of solving that Eye Poke problem is to walk around the corner turn the sound off and hold down A for 30 seconds. If I walk back round the corner and Isaac is dead. Well we shall try again, I mean come on it has to work at some point right? Very Happy

I find it rather weird... I mean I do not own the game but if you fail, the device pokey your eye out, if you are successful, it pokes you in the eye anyways...

Haha all part of the magic. :P

FYI, I'm almost through the game for the second time and I'm actually kind of pissed that I'm running out of things to do. Guess I have to go through on Zealot difficulty now...

@ Drunk and Furtz - Yeah I'm def gonna try zealot on my third play through. FYI I'm in chapter 11 now, and the elite advanced suit is SO AWESEOME.

@ Moliat - I meant running out of things to do in Dead Space 2. Haha. I have too many games vying for my attention right now.

Yeah dude I think I'm gonna pass on Hardcore. I'll do Zealot because I'll get to keep all my hard earned gear, but hard core might be a little too hardcore for me. lol.

Oh, and the fully upgraded detonator is freakin' sweet. haha.

Finished DS2 on normal settings yesterday. That immortal just before the "eye poke machine" (which I don't get what all the fuss is about, except it was nasty) stressed me out, and convinced me to replace my seeker rifle with a contact beam. And he also made me spend 300 pulse rifle rounds before I realised he couldn't be killed.

Yeah that regenerating guy freaked me the hell out the first time too. I probably burned through 20 line racks before I realized he wasn't dying. lol. bastard.

I've been on an AC:B kick as of late, but I'm on chapter 12 of my second play through on normal right now. Def gonna finish it and probably start a new one on zealot just to get the achievement. :P

So what did you think, Moliat? Were we right when we said you'd like it?

Definitely an enjoyable playthrough. Not sure if I'll give myself time to do a second, but I sure did enjoy the first. Except for that regenerating bugger, he gave me a constant chill down my spine as he stressed the shit out of me

I never played Dead Space 1, but Dead Space 2 was enjoyable.

As for Mass Effect, I'm a huge fan of those, but I wouldn't say they are much like Dead Space 2. You have the same RPG-touch with inventory and such, but you're alone, and I don't think the storyline is quite as good in Dead Space 2, to be brutally honest. Regardless, DS2 was fun to play, just not the same as ME.

Found something interesting while poking around on the XBL game marketplace. If I'm not mistaken, I think you can download the multiplayer for Dead Space 2 as a stand alone product. I also didn't see a price....free?

Oh, and they've def gone a long way balancing it too, which made me happy. Smile

It's more single player. You play as a different character.

I am thinking about getting it today or well atleast get some MS points later on today.
It's basically more singleplayer, you play as a different character, Gabe Wells if I remember correctly who is an engineer with the mining security something or another I don't remember. He's got a pretty awesome helmet though, like an orange type I dunno how to describe it, eye or something. Looks pretty cool Smile

Yeah its only 560 points, I think I might get it too. It's pretty short, only a few chapters, but I think Gabe was part of a security team in the Titan mines that fell apart when the Necromorphs attacked. He has a badass security RIG, and a specially modified pulse rifle.

    Sounds sweet. Smile

I was thinking about getting the new DS2 add on (the one featuring Gabe Wells with the actual new gameplay) and the DS2 Nova Pack featuring the new suits and weapons, that sounds pretty cool as well. I only want to get one of the "suit packs" because if I have all three of them plus the suits from the normal game, what the hell am I going to wear, so Nova pack only, it also seems to have the most content of the three "suit packs"....

OH, and I was right. The Dead Space 2 Multi-player is a completely free download on the XBL games marketplace. Very Happy
