I agree. The yellow colour is.. not so cool. And this quote-mark up in the right corner is a bit large, but care :P

There's nothing wrong with it Smile

Its just that I'd like more of a darker yellow colour inspired by the picture on top of this forum Smile That would have been cool imo Very Happy

    DFA battlefield moments

Post by Moliat on Mon Dec 06, 2010 8:10 am

This thread is for keeping records of some of the awesome moments we have on the battlefield. If you've got a screenshot (I usually take them with my cellphone camera) be sure to attach it!

Crush and I played a game once in which we were 2 of a total of 5 on our team against ~10 enemies. The 3 others on our team were camping with snipers, and each had a score of approximately 500.
It was on Arica Harbour conquest. In other words; Crush and I were the only ones capturing and holding bases against 9 enemies (1 was camping with sniper). We won with 3 tickets against 0. One of the most epic 2vsWorld DFA performances I know of!

The next game we played was Atacama Desert conquest. Crush and I took an Abrams and we often came out on top against double T90s. The resulting scoreboards can be seen below:

A couple of epic games that day!

From the clan event 4th December 2010. We decided to play against randoms, and so we did. Until most of them left.

Hazey piloting his Black Hawk like he always does. I was just there to enjoy the ride equipped with a minigun.

How easy it is being a gunship pilot when you have DFA ground troops mowing down the defenses for you:

Impressive how you laid all that out.

... of course, you should have done it all in one post though..... (jk)

I sometimes take screenshots of epic moments, and it tends to be a lot of those with DFA. Then I just upload them to photobucket and attach them here. Easy peasy, and it's always fun to look back at these screenshots occasionally Very Happy

I had a moment during the clan match on Harvest Day Rush. I took a buggy that you guys left behind in a previously failed attack, laced it with C4, then took it along the creek towards your base. I ran into Moliat first. I attempted to run the buggy into him, but I ended up using the bank of the river as a sort of ramp and went over the tank. I bailed out mid-flight to lay C4 on his tank myself when Moliat hopped out to avoid it, so I quickly seized the opportunity and hijacked the tank for myself, backed up, and blew Moliat away with a point blank 120mm.

Just then someone else came up in their tank, I think it was Tim, and got a near one hit kill ass shot on my tank. I bailed out to the safe side and began wondering how I might manage to C4 this guy. He must've anticipated me running through the smoke C4 in hand so he began to back up. Unfortunately for him, the little red tank symbol on my minimap was heading straight for the blinking icon of a C4 laden light vehicle. I prayed that he would keep going towards it, which indeed happened, and I detonated the C4 only to realise that I had forgotten about the C4 I had strapped onto Moliat's tank...which I was now standing next to. I died in the end, but it was a balls to the walls move that took two tickets and a couple tanks with me, it was a pretty exciting 6 seconds.

Tank hunting is an exciting sport.

Max, the moment you described was kind of epic for me as well. The second I jumped out I thought "Shit! What if he was bluffing?" and then the tank starts driving. I just started running alongside but somehow you managed to roadkill me when I was to your side and you were backing up :p
