    A place to rage!

Post by Murray on Thu Mar 17, 2011 6:03 am

Just had a 2v2 auto match I was Wher with PE ally matched against Americans and Brits. Everything went alright [except no micro with my pumas], until the brits started to inflict some heavy losses on the PE player about 20 min into the game. PE player picks TD doctrine then drops, then American player drop via plug pull. Left was me vs Brits.

I was managing to hold off their attacks and gain some ground back and even the vps. Until roos showed up and you know the story...base rape + arty + base rape + arty... Even got delevelled.
Can't blame the brit player for spamming roos though, they are so cheap and powerful. My KT made no difference. Sad

I eagerly anticipate the release of the new patch. Having 10 roos visit your base in the span of 15 or so minutes is not a pleasant sight.

    My rant ends here.
    Good night!

What about 2 or 3 PE's AC just a few minutes after the game started, with little micro you avoid stickies and MP is not up yet..., fuel becomes and utopia since of course the PE players knows that that's what ami exactly needs to counter those AC, it happened to me with savage yesterday. This kinda games I don't even save them..., solution?

Still the best method to counter AC's is going for a quick m8, if you are not able to have a dominant early game fuel control. Also 2 mines can kill an AC. Stickybombs are not reliable and should not be the primary counter.

Murray you are so right, without early control of the fuel, makes for a really long day at the office. Cry

If stickybombs are your primary counter to ACs, you're in for a shitty game if the enemy knows how to micro.

Great shoutcast by inverse PE v AmericanosReplay LinkHouse of death vs Elmo. Could help, gave me some insight on how play against PE. Enjoy

By the way, it's not the gemaplay in itself, but Inverse's explanation of what you can do against PE.

tanktraps, mines, and focus fire untill the m8/t17 comes out, also acs don't do much vs green cover. Armor is the best doc agianst pe imo.

Well, a tech is coming out Saturday, to check everything. I am led to believe it's all stemming from the outside connection.
