    The rules would be:

    - Harcore
    - Limited # of respawns
    - Only respawn at your base; no squad respawns
    - Only allowed to puke out 1 Ammo box
    - Only allowed to revive 1 person
    - Only allowed to be revived once
    - Defenders get unlimited respawns, but all other rules apply.

All the 'counters' reset after M-Comms destroyed and next set (or one, if Squad Rush) open up.

It would be up to the responsibility (and honor) of each individual to track their own situation; if you get revived a second time by accident you need to suicide out immediately (and this would not count against that Medic's one revive). Same goes for other 'accidents'; if you accidentally puke out a second Ammo box, you should have to suicide out immediately, losing a ticket, having to respawn at your base, etc. DEFENDERS should not 'cheat' this rule.

If you run out of ammo, and there are no boxes nearby, then you'd better go find someone's kit on the ground, or sharpen your trusty knife or something...

I feel like back of the map wookies would make this a pain in the ass.

I guess the reason they call it video game is because it is supposed to be fun and not hyper realistic.

I guess the most realistic gameplay you could possibly achieve would be a game that blows up your XBox when you die, taking large amounts of your living room and whoever is in it with you.

Doubt an awful lot of people would play a game like that but hey, at least it's realistic now.

i'd be down for a super realistic game mode lol

i played Americas Army for about 6 years, just now getting back into it. THAT game is frustrating. one life. one to maybe 4 shots to die. teamwork is a MUST in it. that game is pretty much where i got my liking for squad based games...i started playing AA in 2004 and the BF series in 2001 or 2002 whenever 1942 came out and i've loved hardcore squad play ever since.

The odds do seem insurmountable for the attackers.

    Oops, my bad.

You're right of course. Changing it to the same limits for Defenders.

    <After-Edit>

Thing is, in a regular game the Attackers are limited to the number of tickets they have, while the Defenders are unlimited, so....

Not one dead, that's it. You still get to respawn (but a limit to how many times), you just can only be revived (or revive another) only once.

Well if the attackers didn't have a set amount the game would never end until the attackers won.

What this is purposing is that the tickets get slimed down and not only that if it happens to be the same guy has died three times, used his one respawn and one revive, than they are fighting a 3v4 for the remainder of the match. As the match carries on it will just become easier and easier for the defenders if the attackers don't completely dominate out the gate. And then if you add no squad spawning on top of that, brutal. I'm not saying it's impossible or that it's a horrible idea, I'm just saying the defending team has much more in their favor.

Defending team has a big favor, as they can set up a perimeter.

    I say, (for realism) this:
    - attackers, 1 life per person, die and your out till the next MCOMM
    - defenders, 1 life per person, die and your out till the next MCOMM
    - 1 revive per person
    - 1 medpack per medic
    - 1 ammopack per assault
    - no motionsensores (isn't really real is it?)
    - hardcore mode
